LEANDRO SOLARI
Realism and dream. The dreamlike illusion inspired Leandro Solari many years ago, when he started studying cinema in his natal Buenos Aires. Then, he went to Barcelona and studied film direction in CECC (Center of Cinematographic Studies of Catalonia). He realized several shorts and gained the project of 35 mm that project later at the Cinema Verdi of Barcelona as well as in several Europe festivals. Actually, he’s travelling around the world realizing documentaries, though he does not reject to return to the fiction one day. Here there can be seen some of his shorts:
BASURA (RUBBISH)
Ernesto works at a slaughterhouse. Despite having his wife Mercedes, he feels very lonely. The murder of his son perpetrated by the Death Commands will affect forever the life of both to bring them to extreme changes.

LA CASA (THE HOUSE)
He and she are anonymous brothers. They live in their earthly paradise where the rules seem to distort, where prejudices have no place. One day their world will be altered by a force, forcing their relationship an increasingly asphyxiating.

Giovanni has remained without work and does not dare to say it to his wife. Meanwhile, his friend Joaquín convinces him to live in a different but dangerous way. This situation will bring a great change in Giovanni's life.
