Leaving Natal towards the north coast, take the BR-101 toward Touros.

 

TAXI

You can take a taxi from Natal for R$ 200 or go to the Nordestão Supermarket in Igapó (Mangueiras) and from there, pay a community taxi (15 RS) or individual. WARNING: The taxi’s schedule is until 16:00 pm, later than that will be more complicated to catch one. BUS

BUGGY

Certainly the most beautiful and exciting way to reach Maracajaú and knowing its beaches, lagoons and palm trees in the region, is making the trip to Maracajaú by buggy.  

 

FROM NATAL AIRPORT

The new International airport of Natal, located in São Gonçalo do Amarante (RN), it is expected to be built two double road, connecting the airport to the BR-406 the north access and BR-304 and 226 from the south access.

 

          - TAXI: The COOPCOM - Cooperative of taxi drivers of São Gonçalo Amarante, operates on Natal airport with extensive route vehicles. Transit passengers can request the taxi service downstairs (domestic arrivals) from the airport.           -VANS: The airport has seven tourist vans companies.

         

          -BUS: Another option is using public bus lines (Line S or R) to the Nordestão Supermarket in Igapó (Mangueiras) and from there with hire vans, travel by bus or catch the community taxis (15 RS) or individual (from 50 RS) to Maracajaú. WARNING: The schedule taxi is until 16:00 pm, later is complicated catch one. If you arrive later is best to book a taxi before.
